Which links work?
Spotlight videos, public profiles (snapchat.com/add/name or @name), highlights, and the short t.snapchat.com links the app shares. A profile link lists its current story, every highlight, and its Spotlight videos.
Does it remove the Snapchat watermark?
Story and highlight snaps download as they were posted, without a mark. Spotlight videos that Snapchat shares on the web already carry its own mark with the creator's name, and Snapchat offers no other copy. This tool never adds a mark of its own and never re-encodes the file.
Which quality do I get?
Exactly the file Snapchat serves, byte for byte: MP4 for videos, JPG for photos. The resolution and size are shown before you download when Snapchat's file says them.
Can I download private snaps?
No. Only what Snapchat shows to everyone on the web: public profiles, their stories and highlights, and Spotlight. Chats, private stories, and friends-only content cannot be downloaded. Download only what you are allowed to use and respect the creators.
Are the files stored?
No. Files stream from Snapchat to you through this site and are never saved.
